The Deck Post Bracket structurally reinforces the deck system at the exterior corner where the beam and deck outside rim joist rest on top of a 6x6 post.

-The Deck Post Bracket (Single Story) is primarily designed for open decks that are single story and the bracket rests on a 6x6 post on the outside corner.

- The Deck Post Bracket (Multistory) is primarily designed for a covered deck or porch and rests on a 6x6 post on the outside corner. This bracket also reinforces and assists alignment of 6x6 post stacking, providing code specified continuous Load Path to the concrete footing.
